Best Bits is a grid-based, monospaced typeface inspired by retro computing and pixel art. Built on a modular grid, each pixel is an interpolated shape that can be scaled and customized in both size and dimension, unlocking endless possibilities for crafting retro‑inspired, pixelated designs with a modern twist.

Each pixel style comes in two weights to choose from, Regular and Bold with matching italics. You can choose to purchase individual static styles as pre‑defined instances, or get the complete variable font, which includes all possible combinations of weight, slant, and pixel modulation. Best Bits supports over 270 languages using the Latin script.

The typeface can also function as a multilayered system. By stacking styles and manipulating pixel shapes across layers, users can create rich visual effects, such as outlines, dimensional depth, or animated textures. This versatility makes it especially well suited for display use in interfaces, kinetic typography, posters, branding, and any design with bold, modular, digitally nostalgic visuals.
