Inspired by the expressive spirit of early grotesques, Best Single is a single‑width (monospaced) typeface mixing geometric precision with calligraphic endings, adding a unique sense of movement to a traditionally rigid genre.
Once limited to coding and technical documents, monospaced fonts are now everywhere: editorials, branding, signage, and packaging, where precision meets personality. Best Single embraces this shift, combining classic and modern influences to move beyond the rigid, mechanical feel traditionally associated with monospaced  designs.
The font comes with 9 preset weights from Air to Black, with matching 16° italics, while the variable font allows you to choose any weight and any slant. Each style also includes four dot shapes: square, round, pentagonal or diamonds accesible via OpenType features.
